Revere Special Olympics Programs Begin September 30 - Volunteers and Participants Wanted!

The City of Revere and Mayor Brian Arrigo are proud to support an expanded presence this fall for the Special Olympics program, as part of the Mayor’s ongoing effort to provide more free programming for Revere youth.

Mayor Arrigo and Revere Recreation Announce Open Gym Dates For Middle and High School Students in 2017-18

Following this past spring's successful pilot program, Mayor Brian Arrigo and the City of Revere Parks and Recreation Department are happy to announce Open Gym dates this fall for middle and high school students.

Dates for open gym are:

Back to School Reminder: School Bus Safety

Mayor Brian Arrigo would like to remind residents about the following rules regarding safety near school buses:

1. When you see a school bus, assume children will be around and take extra care- leave lots of space around the bus.

2. When the bus turns on flashing yellow lights, that means it is about to stop at either a railroad crossing or to pick up kids. Slow down and prepare to stop.

Next month’s Housing Families Pro Bono Legal Services Office Hours in Revere have been moved to Tuesday, September 19 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
