Revere Beach Family Fun and Fireworks
Next Stop Revere, the City of Revere’s newly formed travel and tourism office, is excited to announce that it will be hosting a celebration to mark the 126th Anniversary of Revere Beach officially becoming the country's first public beach. The event will include live music, food vendors, family activities, and a fireworks celebration to finish things off.
“Last year the city hosted fireworks to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Revere Beach”, said Charlie Giuffrida, Director of Next Stop Revere. “This year we are excited to be able to expand upon what was started last year and turn it into a daylong event for people of all ages!”
This year's event is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 PM and will include a full slate of live music, food trucks and vendors, amusement rides, and more. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:00 PM.
“Revere Beach was the first public beach in America, and by celebrating our city’s history and continuing in its legacy, we can continue to come together as a community,” said Mayor Brian Arrigo. “We introduced this event last year during the 125th Anniversary and we’re excited to continue this tradition with Next Stop Revere – bringing all Revere residents - past, present and future, to the beach to enjoy all the amenities we have to offer.”
Next Stop Revere is excited to see everyone on the beach once again for this free, family-friendly event. More details and announcements about the event will be made at a later date.
