REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

FY-2009 INTERIM YEAR VALUATION ADJUSTMENT

OF ALL

REAL PROPERTY AND TAXABLE PERSONAL PROPERTY

 

MUN-2008-1013

 

Sealed proposals will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Revere, Massachusetts up to 1:00 PM, August 7, 2008.

 

This proposal is for the Fiscal Year 2009 interim year valuation adjustment of all real property and taxable personal property for the City of Revere Assessor’s Office, according to specifications.

 

Specifications may be obtained beginning Thursday, July 24, 2008 after 1:00 PM from the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Revere City Hall, 281 Broadway, Revere, Massachusetts 02151.  Mailing of specifications requires advance payment in the form of a bank check or money order, in the amount of $ 5.00, made payable to the City of Revere.

 

Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a bond, certified check, cashier’s check, or treasurer’s check issued by a reputable bank or trust company, in the amount of $ 1,000.00.  Checks must be made payable to the City of Revere.

 

The City of Revere, as the awarding authority, reserves the right to accept any proposal or portion of a proposal, waive any informality in a proposal, investigate the ability of the vendors to honor a proposal, reject any and all proposals, and award all contracts as shall be considered in the best interest of the City of Revere.  The City of Revere reserves the right to negotiate and amend the scope of services.

 

It is the policy of the City of Revere to take positive steps to maximize the utilization of minority business enterprises in all activities administered by this agency.

 

No candidate may withdraw his/her proposal within sixty (60) business days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

 

This request for proposal is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B.
